People come into our life disguised as angels, and sometimes angels come into our life disguised as

people. It is possible to see God anywhere. All it takes are open eyes and ears and the willingness

to see miracles. They are everywhere. God is as available as we are. Having friends that inspire us

to rise to higher and greater levels is an awesome gift. Surround yourself with people that inspire

you to do better and inspire your friends as well. It is a profound truth that the people we hang

out will shape the path that we travel.

Tablescape Thursday!!!

Yeah!!! It’s Thursday!!! Ya’ll know what that means!!! Tablescapes…tablescapes…

tablescapes!!!

This little table is for extra seating on my back patio. I set the table for two!!!

Everyone in blogland is using shells…so of course I copied!!! My daughter has quite the

collection…so this was easy!!! I also had the linen tea towels that I am using for the

placemats/tablecloth…so I was off and running!!! I know everyone recognizes the white

dishes…courtesy of our dear Gollum. I had the little green desert plates…they pick up the

green in the tea towels perfectly…don’t you agree? The bamboo flatware is another

blogland favorite…from Horchow and the glassware is from there as well. I am so excited

about this little tablescape!!! I love how it came together!!! You never know when you first

get started!!! I must say…this is quickly becoming one of my favorite meme’s!!!

My Baby!!!

You have seen this picture before…it is my youngest child when he was about 2 years old. Isn’t he

cute?

This is that same baby boy today!!! 14 years old…almost 15 and…at least to me…still as precious!!!

I am so proud of the young man he is becoming!!! I love spending time with him…we have the

best time running around together… chatting and being goofy!!!

This is one of his favorite places!!! It just happens to be across the street from one of our favorite

restaurants…a quick little stroll and...we have desert!!!

Don’t these make your mouth water…they’re so cute too!!!

I just thought I would share a piece of one my favorite things to do on a hot Texas afternoon…

spending time with “my baby”!!!

For those of you who have been joining me in prayer for sweet Connor…I wanted to let you know

that he lost his long battle with cancer Friday, July 9th. My heart is broken for his precious

family. I know Connor is with Jesus and this is a blessing for everyone involved. His family…of

course is comforted by this…however…they are still devastated!!! I can’t even begin to

comprehend the pain of this loss!!! I am grateful that Connor is with our Lord and Savior and

pain-free for the first time in a very long time. I look forward to the day I will see him whole and

happy!!! I want to thank you all for your prayers and good wishes!!! I hope you will continue to

pray for this sweet family as they deal with the loss of there beloved child!!! Thank you!!!

A Little Summer Vacation!!!

I wanted to take a minute to let ya’ll know I have been on vacation with my family for the

past week or so. Many of you have been asking about me…so sweet…and I wanted to let

you know that I am doing well and will be back to blogging in the next day or two. We are

home safe and sound and I am just going to take a couple of days to regroup. I am looking

forward to catching up on everyone’s posts and reconnecting with all of my sweet blog

friends. Thanks to all of you that expressed concern over my whereabouts…it means the

world to me!!!
