Earth laughs in flowers... Ralph Waldo Emerson

A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word, 'darkness' on the walls of his cell.

Three or More Tuesday!!!

It's Three or More Tuesday hosted by Tam @ The Gypsy's Corner !!!
This is my first time to be involved in this fun event.
I love collecting, so this is a no brainer.
One of my favorite things to collect are Limoge boxes.
In each one there is a little note with the date and person's name who gave me the box.
These are a few of my favorites!!!

Thank you Tam for being such a gracious hostess!!!
Lots of Love!
Cathy

Welcome to 'Three Or More - Tuesday' Cathy!
What a wonderful collection of Limoge boxes - one more beautiful then the next one, all of them little pieces of art. I love the detail on the picnic basket one but the lady bug made me smile. Thank you so much for sharing your treasures with us.
Have a wonderful Tuesday,
Tam

I see things like this around but didn't know they were called limoge boxes.I often wondered what they were for. Pillboxes? I guess it would be fun to collect them just because. They are so pretty. Thanks for sharing and welcome to Three or More....

Oh, Cathy... those are some wonderful limoge boxes! I love them, and I think my favorite is the orange.

I have a few, and my favorites are a cat on a pillow and a swan. One came from my first trip to Macy's in NYC years and years ago, and the other was a gift from a friend. I have others, but those are by far my favorites!

Love yours and love the fact that you joined us for Three or More Tuesday!

XO,

Sheila :-)

Beautiful little boxes and I like the fact that you keep notes in them of their acquisition.
Welcome to Tam's corner of collections.

I really enjoyed the musical grasshopper. The story about it is an Aesop's Fable, as you might have known.

Beautiful collection Cathy. I have seen Limoges before but I am afraid it may be too late to start collecting!! ;-)

All of them are lovely but the lady bug is precious!

Happy TOMT!!!
