Tablescape Thursday!!!

020

Yeah!!! It’s Thursday!!! Ya’ll know what that means!!! Tablescapes…tablescapes…

tablescapes!!!

This little table is for extra seating on my back patio. I set the table for two!!!

Everyone in blogland is using shells…so of course I copied!!! My daughter has quite the

collection…so this was easy!!! I also had the linen tea towels that I am using for the

placemats/tablecloth…so I was off and running!!! I know everyone recognizes the white

dishes…courtesy of our dear Gollum. I had the little green desert plates…they pick up the

green in the tea towels perfectly…don’t you agree? The bamboo flatware is another

blogland favorite…from Horchow and the glassware is from there as well. I am so excited

about this little tablescape!!! I love how it came together!!! You never know when you first

get started!!! I must say…this is quickly becoming one of my favorite meme’s!!!

Cathy!

This is just as cute as can be! I have that flatware, and isn't it fun??? I also have white dishes and shells (I hope so, I live in Florida LOL!), but I don't have those cute seahorses! Those are adorable. Are they knife rests? Whatever they are, I love them! :-)

And I loved this set with pinks! And those glasses... girl, those are the cutest!

Great job with your tablescape!

Happy Tablescape Thursday...

XO,

Sheila :-)

We are seeing a lot of pink and green and I am loving it. This is so bright and cheerful. I love the beach, but sometimes tire of the colors all being so pastel. This is great. Wonderful combo.

Don't forget to join us on this weekend for the final Christmas in July Tablescape Party on Saturday (some may spill into Sunday since the 25th is Saturday. I am having a real CIJ family dinner on Sunday, but will post my table photos Friday night and Mr. Linky will be up and ready at Playing Dishes.

I love this! It's so unexpected, with the pink with the "beachy" theme...very cool! I've been using my little outdoor tables a lot this summer for tablescaping and they're just perfect for that.

Cathy,
Your tablescape is just breathtaking. A lot of bloggers have mixed the seashells around a blue-themed table. Your use of pink and green was incredibly creative and gave the seashell theme a totally new updated look. Love it! Amy :)

Cathy,
Thanks for visiting and posting on my blog. I absolutely LOVE your pretty tablescape with the shells as accents. And the seahorses are adorable. Did you know that the male seahorse carries the babies in his pouch? Could you imagine the male of the human species handling that responsibility? LOL Happy TT!

How pretty! You have coordinated the greens & pinks in the tablecloth with your dishes so well! The shells are a nice touch and show that your table doesn't have to be totally "beachy" to use them - they are a nice decorative accent on their own!

Dear Cathy,
I love this tablescape. It turned out just beautiful! And it didn't even have any MC on it!! Being that we live a few miles from South Padre Island, I too love seashells and the like.

I also want to thank you for your comment on my blog. I am glad to hear that you use the cookware. How does it clean up? I just want mine to always look as good as when I bought it..hehehe

Anyway...thanks for sharing your tablescape with us. I may be well enough to do another one next week.

Have a blessed weekend...warm hugs...Linda

Oh, that scene could be at the edge of the beach, awaiting two people in love! I don't live close to the ocean, but I've sure been scouting all over town (like at Ross: scored!) for seashells. I like the pink with the neutrals. So tranquil and appealing to the senses!
