Tablescape Thursday!!!

IMG_0713

Oh how I love Thursdays!!! It is tablescape day!!! I love playing with my dishes!!! I have always

been a dishaholic and this day has given me one more reason to feed my addiction…YEAH!!!

Today’s table is for my daughter. She is having a few friends over for lunch and swimming so I

thought this would be a perfect opportunity to do a post with my plastic dishes. I couldn’t post

everything…the Texas heat prohibited some things from being displayed until  the last minute.

We found these dishes several weeks ago at Target. I had to have them…because they are

orange…of course;)!!! I love the pattern!!! Too cute!!! Did I say I love ORANGE:)?!!! I found the

cute flavored water on another blog and of course had to copy…it was just to cute to pass up!!!

Everything else is just stuff I have had for awhile. The topiary is usually in another spot but was

crying out to be used today…so I obliged!!!

I hope you enjoy and I hope my daughter and her friends enjoy as well!!!

Be sure and visit Susan at BETWEEN NAPS ON THE PORCH to sneak a peek at all the other

fabulous tablescapes!!! Thank you Susan for hosting Tablescape Thursday…it is always a

delight!!!

Lots of Love!!!

Hi Cathy! I am just a spectator, like last week.. Just a "young (cough, cough) grasshopper" watching and learning from all the Tablescaping participants! As I see yours, I was in fact just considering picking up some orange glassware I saw at a store this week! I really thought it was pretty, and that it will soon be just perfect for the fall season that is just around the corner! I passed it up at the time, but am still thinking about it!! I did pick up a small but very cute set of new luncheon dishes, though!! I figure it's a small, wee little baby step, but at least it's in the right direction, yes?! (0; ~tina

Hi Cathy, thanks for stopping by the farmhouse for a visit today! I came over to see your blog and fell in love with your tablescape! That orange is really pretty and so festive for a pool party. I know the girls had as much fun at the party as you did with preparing the table! Yes, I am going to the Rooster Party. I have never participated in one of these blog events. I am not really sure how it all works. If you get time (YEAH,right--what's that, huh?) could you tell me a little bit about how it is done. Do you get all your pics ready and then write and save your blog until party time? Also is there an easy method to downloaded your pictures. It seems like mine always mess up and I can't move them around...oh well...I am sure gonna give it a try. I LOVE ROOSTERS

I also love your blogspot. I signed up as a follower today.
