Some Fun Cottage Pics!!!

016013012006009  010

Oh my! Oh my! Do you love these or what?!

My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary last weekend by going to

Fredericksburg, Texas. It is one of our favorite places and we go every chance we get. We usually

just hang out, eat and shop! Of course cottage touring is always on the list...most of ya'll know

about my cottage fetish! I really don't even know how I ended up in a brand new house in the

middle of the big city when what I long for is a little cottage in the country...life just happens

sometimes;). These homes are on the way out of Fredericksburg on the way to another charming

town called Comfort! I love them all and would happily take any one of them! Aren't they

delicious?! SOMEDAY;)!

~Some fun news!!!~

I am in the process of partnering with CSN for a giveaway to one of their stores. They have offered

to give me a $40 gift card to pass on to one of you. I will also be including some items that I have

purchased as well. Hopefully this will happen within the next couple of days so check back soon!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week!

Lots of Love!!!

Cathy

Oh Cathy, I visited Fredericksburg one year on part of a travel club group tour. We had lunch and shopped those cute shops. Didn't get to see the homes. Love these photos. Thanks for sharing and reminding me of that fun trip.

Good news! I think cottages are the new romantic thing...I find myself being drawn to them too. All these big homes are kind of hard to keep cleaned and decorated and heated and air conditioned and thats just the inside! They do seem to be a simpler idea! Come say hi :D

I love Fredricksburg! I didn't know there was a cottage tour though! I wonder if I could drag my hubby along next time we go? I'll trade a trip to cottages for a trip to the brewery! That should work!

Thanks for sharing!

Before I even read your words and just saw the pictures, I was saying to myself ... "this looks just like Fredericksburg TX!" ..... I love going there. I remember when My husband and I were dating we went there for a weekend, and stayed at a German B&B called Oma's Haus I think.... and we spent the day at Luchenbach which i"ve wanted to do since that song came out in the 1970's.... I have fond memories of Fredericksburg because that is where I told him i loved him for the first time...and that was 14 years ago.... this July. thanks for the great memories with this post. I hope you and your husband had a wonderful anniversary there as well.

Hiya Cathy,

Happy Anniversary.
I wonder what you'd think of our cottage. Take a look HERE
Not always as easy living as you might think though. So before you up sticks and move down, make sure you know what you are doing. Maybe it is better to live across the street of one :-)
