I just had to share this with ya’ll! This is the work of my sweet friend Sonya! I have been blogging with Sonya since she started her GORGEOUS blog a few months ago! She does the most stunning work…I am in love with her brave use of color and mix of fabrics! I am always telling her I wish she had been around when we built our house to encourage me towards her level of courage. I love color but I tend towards playing it a little too safe! She sews…she paints and creates the most wonderful goodies…as you can tell from the pics! You simply MUST visit her site! BEYOND THE SCREEN DOOR!!! Even her blog name is darling! Stop by and say hello…you will be thrilled you did;)!

I hope you all are having a wonderful week!

Lots of Love!

Cathy

I love the mix of patterns, fluffiness, and color. I wish I was bold and brave like that because I feel like that's really me yet I can't pull it off for some reason.

Hi Cathy! I just recently discovered Sonya's blog and drool every time I go visit! She is one talented lady as are you. Takes one to know one huh?! :-) Also, I just thought you should know that I made it through writing my entire post yesterday without crying and then lost it when I read your sweet comment! It meant a lot and I agree that there is nothing that would have stopped me from becoming a mommy and I'm beyond blessed that I did!
Love, Vanessa

Hi Cathy!
As I looked at the photos and scrolled down, I was thinking to myself that I would like to be bold enough to use some of those wonderful colors. I still continue to play it same with basic whites and creams! LOL!
I've got to check out her blog for sure.

Cathy, Thanks for sharing her blog. I admit to being bolder than most when using color too. I have used some of the same fabrics in my house that she used in some drapes you showed. Cute drapery ideas and also pillows. I will take a look at her blog.
