I just popped in to wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR and to let you know I will be returning to blogging in the next few days. I have missed you all soooooo much and am so grateful for all of the concerned e-mails and comments!!! Ya’ll are the BEST!!! I am looking forward to catching up with all of you and catching up on all of your wonderful posts!!!
Here at our house we will be keeping the southern tradition of eating black eyed peas and greens for good luck in the new year…and because we love it;)!!! Don’t forget to do the same!!!

Happy New Year! I had to laugh at your post ~ we northerners were given some black eyed peas last evening to take home and eat today and we aren't even sure how we are supposed to eat them?!! Definitely not something we grew up with.
