I found theses cookies at Whole Foods on Sunday. I thought they were so cute!!! They are called
Pizzelle. They are little thin crunchy chocolate wafers. I served them with a small dollop of
marshmallow cream…yummy!!!
Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!
Lots of Love!!!

Yum-Yum! I have had the vanilla flavored ones, but the chocolate look so good!!!
They kind of look like a canolli, only not rolled up. Chocolate? Oh my - they'd be gone rather fast in this house.
:) Hugs. Karen
Oh, I love these! Isn't Whole Foods just the best? DH has to work all weekend, I just might have to make a run into Austin for a Whole Foods/Central Market fix! Kathy
MMMMmmmmm, if their chocolate they'd have to be delicious. I think I would have to devour them no matter how cute they are. Thanks for sharing.
I always enjoy your sweet comments. You have a fantastically blessed day!!!
I've never seen chocolate pizelle! Years ago my friend's neighbor made us pizelle on what looked like a waffle iron, but I found out was an actual pizelle maker-waffle iron kinda thingy. They were divine. Had a slight anise flavor. Yum! Yum!
Now I'll be looking for pizelle makers at William Sonoma.LOL!
It looks wonderful! And I love your plate! Beautiful color and pattern!
AND WHITE PUMPKINS!! My favorite this year!
All the best,
Eileen
Cathy, I have a pizzelle maker and use it during this time of the year. Aren't they just delicious?
Hope your day is wonderful.
Hugs, Barb ♥
I love whole foods.
Hope you have a great weekend.
Blessings, andrea
Cathy, I like your new blog header!! The colors are simply gorgeous. I've never eaten a chocolate pizelle- just the anise flavored ones. Had an Italian neighbor once and she and her mom made them for me. Yummy- I could eat a handful. Man, it's one in the morning and you have me craving chocolate.... LOL
hugs, Sue
Thanks for joining my blog! Your's is beautiful!! It's amazing how many blogs I have yet to discover!!! Have a blessed day!
Such pretty cookies! Would never have thought of the marshmellow cream. It sounds scrumptious.
I've seen several trays like my red one on ebay and even one on etsy yesterday. The prices are pertty reasonable, except for a few that are way out there. They must be a particular maker or something. Glad you enjoyed it.
Hugs,
Dawn
Cathy, Happy birthday to you!!!! Oh my goodness...I can't believe I forgot we have the same birthday!! Shame on me! I hope you have a wonderful day! Those cookies look yummy btw... Kristen
You even have "classy" cookies!!! They look so good!

Hi Cathy...
Just wanted to come by to say thank you for coming over and taking a peek at my autumn tablescape...your note was so sweet! I always enjoy our visits!!! Happy that you like my bird dishes...do you have a TJ Maxx nearby? That's where I found these.
I just took a tour through your last post...what beautiful autumn decorations! Love your little autumn fairy...he's so charming! I also enjoyed your beautifully decorated hearth! I love those vine pumpkins...I think I need some! Love how you mixed them with the pretty little orange raffia pumpkins...beautiful, my friend! Now...let's talk about your newest autumn treasure that Kristen made for you. It's absolutely gorgeous...I love it!!! Love the sugary looking pumpkin and the pretty vine that is encircling it! Ohh...and all that pretty autumn garland...so beautiful! Kristen is a very creative and talented lady!!! I need to go and visit with her...it's been awhile!!
Well Darlin'...before I go...I see that it's your birthday! Kristen spilled the beans in her comment! Hehe! Happy Birthday, Cathy!!! Sending you my very best wishes and blessings for the best birthday ever!!! Enjoy!!!
Warmest wishes and Happy, Happy Birthday!

I have heard of these little pizelle cookie makers, sort of like a waffle iron if I am not mistaken...They look yummy. I know the holiday season is coming up, but I am going to have to say no to baking if I want to lose wait by Christmas. So...I'll just look and dream about the pizelle!!
Read your last fall post. Love your little fairy!! Maybe he likes to hang out in the kitchen with you, eat the crumbs of the pizelle! lol! And I love how you have fixed up your hearth, which is what I will be doing at the lake this weekend! And have a wonderful weekend yourself, Cathy!!

Cathy, The cookies look delicious. I luv the white pumpkins. I have an award for you at my blog. You deserve it. Hugs, Connie
Cute AND yummy? It just doesn't get any better than that does it? Well, I guess if they were also calorie free? :-)
Hugs,
Spence

We have a Whole Foods opening in a few days here in Santa Barbara! Now I won't have to go to LA. I will definietly give these a try. Just looked at your prior post and your house is looking absolutely wonderful as it is getting dressed for Fall!

The cookies look so elegant. I was thinking a scoop of ice cream, but I think anything would be good with those little chocolate delights.
MARSHMALLOW CREAM???? YUM!
YUM!! I will have to try those---they look delish! Liz
I love pizzelles. I make them all the time. My Mom gave me a pizzelle maker years ago. I never had them with marshmallow cream, I'll try that. You need to try them with nutella...yummy
I make pizzelle's and they are so good. I have made the chocolate ones too. Love your blog.
