Several of you have asked to see more of my home so I thought I would start with my favorite room.
I love this room...it is where I spend most of my time when I am home. It is filled with things that I
love and collect and have had for years! My collection of Mackenzie Childs has somewhat dictated my
color scheme. I love my big green sofa...it is fairly new and is sooooo comfy...and of course is my
favorite apple green. I have a few projects planned for in here. A new window treatment for my
french door, a skirt for my desk...just to name a few. This is obviously part of a great room...family
room, kitchen and kitchen nook combination. I will post about the other areas soon. Have a

There are so many wonderful things to look at in your family room and it is all so very pretty.
I think our tastes are similar as I look around at your majolica, MacKenzie pieces and your wonderful matching farm chairs with the garden seat as a table. These are all things that I love to have in my home too.

Oh Cathy! It is all so pretty! The colors are just beautiful and flow together so nicely. Love, love, love the bakers rack with majolica plates on each side. I had something like that in my old home with Polish pottery. It all looks so welcoming!

About the carpet.....Do you like it? It looks just like what I have picked out for our great room. I am a little worried about how it will hold up. John spills coffee everywhere and I'm wondering if stains come out easily.

Ok Cathy, where did you get your couch??? Is it by any chance Lee?? I went to order mine and the apple green fabric I chose was discontinued! :( so now I'm on a hunt for another perfect green.

What a fun space! I could definitely curl up on that couch and watch a movie. Your 4th of July decorations are just wonderful too. I don't think enough people decorate for this holiday, maybe because it's too hot in July to crawl up in the attic for a box of stuff! Lol

I was just going through some of your older posts' and I just want to say, I think you and I were separated at birth! We have almost the same color tastes' and items in our homes! I even have the same green Majolica green plates you have hanging as well as many others that are similar! And i love MacKenzie-Childs, although don't have any of the pieces, but love the Cloche party with them.
