A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word, 'darkness' on the walls of his cell.

Cathy I just read your comment over at Nancy's and I had to come by and say I know exactly what you mean. It took me a while and a few tears before I could write my post today also. We were so blessed to have Men like them in our lives even if it was cut short. I know you and Nancy and I are cherishing such sweet memories today. Just had to come by and say I understand, Hugs Kathysue
Many cyber hugs to you today, Cathy! Your dad was not only handsome, but he was the daddy of a very wonderful daughter, and I'm sure that you always made him proud {and still do}. xx Suzanne
Thank you so much for stopping by today & sharing, your visit & lovely comments truly made my day!
I'm so, so sorry that you lost your Dad too, isn't it hard to believe they're really gone?
It really doesn't really seem possible, it's been 7 years for me (May 27th), time has a way of lessening the pain ... but ... I don't think I miss him any less, so I understand what you mean about missing him desperately!
Life just isn't the same without our Dads!
Although "Father's Day" is extremely sad for those of us who've lost our Daddys, I hope, as we're reminiscing (especially) today that our day is a little better by sharing all "their" wonderful stories & memories ♥
My thoughts & prayers are with you & your loved ones today & always ~ God Bless
Sending you a HUGE hug from sunny florida ~ Lynn xo
What a lovely photograph. We celebrate Father's Day in September here in Australia. It's been so inspiring to see the many ways my Northern Hemisphere friends have honoured their fathers over the last few days. Blessings Dorothy :)
Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art...it has no survival value; rather it is one of those things that give value to survival.
