Cathy I just read your comment over at Nancy's and I had to come by and say I know exactly what you mean. It took me a while and a few tears before I could write my post today also. We were so blessed to have Men like them in our lives even if it was cut short. I know you and Nancy and I are cherishing such sweet memories today. I'm so, so sorry that you lost your Dad too, isn't it hard to believe they're really gone?
It really doesn't really seem possible, it's been 7 years for me (May 27th), time has a way of lessening the pain ... but ... I don't think I miss him any less, so I understand what you mean about missing him desperately!
Life just isn't the same without our Dads!
Although "Father's Day" is extremely sad for those of us who've lost our Daddys, I hope, as we're reminiscing (especially) today that our day is a little better by sharing all "their" wonderful stories & memories ♥
