Earth laughs in flowers... Ralph Waldo Emerson

A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word, 'darkness' on the walls of his cell.

Oh me too, I have a candle burning every day! There's just something so comforting about them. I'm very big on "smells" and aromas. I guess I have a very sensitive nose! LOL! And seeing your amyrillis, mine's about ready too. It's the first time I've had one and I can't wait to see bloom! thank you Cathy for all your dear support!
Hugs and blessings,
Debra

It's been a while since my last visit as I have been so busy with Christmas and visiting family and kids home from college--just got caught up on your latest posts. Your home was so pretty dressed for Christmas (did you notice we have the same angels?)and I am sorry to hear about your business tribulations. Surely something good will come out of all the difficulties many of us have been facing. Wonderful candles and beautiful flowers are simple luxuries that can keep us looking on the brighter side. I'll have to check out that candle. Wishing you a New Year filled with happiness and abundance. ~jermaine~

Cathy darling, this candle looks like it should be gardenia, is it? Luv, I hope you had a wonderful time ringing in the New Year and that 2010 turns out to be the best year of your life, followed by many more. Thanks for all your visits and sweet comments, you are a dear friend, a treasure.

Love & Hugs

That looks great. My new obsession is the Ralph Lauren infussion. The Christmas scent is delicious. I picked up one at TJMax the other day and am now on the look out for more.

I haven't seen those. I do love a good candle too. Isn't it funny how men just don't understand about them?

Aren't they yummy????

We have an incredible florist/gift store who has two huge sales every year. One is going on right now. At the last sale, I got the Nest Sampler box (13 different votives ) for 1/2 price!!!!
I am having fun with them. I am currently enjoying Orange Blossom.
I would be glad to call and see if the florist has any Grapefruit left. 1/2 price!!!!

One cannot have too many candles! My fave is mulberry and my house seriously reeks of it. My DIL has the kids run around their van after she picks them up to 'freshen' up the vehicle!

God bless and enjoy your new scent!!!

Well Shoot! My husband has alergies and scented candles really bother him, so I've had to give up candles. Of course, since I collect so many other things, it's hardly noticeable! laurie

Love your Tiffin CC set...I never got one..then they discontinued them.
